Story time is geared toward children ages 3-8 years old and requires an adult chaperone. Each story time will begin with a read-aloud of our chosen book, followed by a guided painting project related to the selection. Each session is facilitated by a certified teacher. The cost of your reservation pays for both story time AND the related pottery project. Completed projects will be available for pickup one week from the date of story time.

During this workshop a potter will instruct couples in creating a heart-shaped trinket dish using clay slabs and slump molds. No experience is necessary for this fun, beginner-level workshop. BYOB, refreshments are encouraged! Your registration fee includes the cost of one trinket dish. Additional dishes created will be $35 each and are billed at the event. Please note! Potters will need to return on a date of their choosing to paint their dishes once they have been fired in the kiln (no reservation needed).

Get ready for 420 by crafting your own pipe from clay!! Your instructor will walk you through creating your choice of three body styles of pipe: straight, square or traditional “bowl” (straight and square pictured here). After molding your masterpiece our staff will kiln-fire it so that you may return to paint your pipe in any of our regular or specialty glaze. Your pipe is then re-fired and packaged for pickup. This workshop is $35 per pipe and includes the glazing and second firing for no additional charge!

Your instructor will walk you through creating your own spring mottled posey vase! You may choose from the warm or cool color versions of the project. You may return when your mushroom has been fired to glaze it in whichever beautiful colors strike your fancy. A staff member will help you make your impression in wet clay and then we will custom-paint your ornament to order! You may choose from the foot-Christmas Tree, Elf Handprint or puppy pawprint design . We will press your loved one’s name right into the ornament! Custom ornaments will be $30 each.

This is a group workshop in which the instructor will walk through creating a hand-built clay mug step-by-step. You will have the option to personalize your mug with texture rollers, letters and design stamps. Mugs will then be bisque-fired and attendees may walk into the studio anytime after December 20th to glaze (paint) their mug. We will then refire the mug with the glaze to create your finished masterpiece! Registration fee includes full cost of all materials and instruction.
